In Tamil Nadu, Chennai 4 law college students were brutally beaten up my other students because of allegedly a caste clash.The camera showed that the policeman were in the periphery and just watching the scene and remained a mere spectator rather than taking any action.When questioned as to why no action was taken, the reply was that they had no permission from the college principal and the higher officials.Definitely this is not going to subside in a matter of day as law college students from across the state have demanded a detailed inquiry into the matter and following which some students involved in this vandalism and act of brutality have been arrested.Four students have been badly injured and one is still in a critical state.Had anything of this sort happened in the US, we would have had the help of a South Carolina injury lawyer.Howeverm in India it will take some time to get justice for this savage act of vandalism.
