The next big news was a so called on-line interview.Though not the greatest ideas for a company to conduct an interview online, i though it would the preliminary interview and then there would be one face to face interview.This is what the mail sent read:
Dear Applicant,
The Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) has considered your application.
We are sending you our International Online Interview Questionnaire to
endorse and get back to us within 48hours of receipt.
Your application will be evaluated on the basis of the answers from the Online Questionnaire alongside your Resume and you will surely be notified upon review of your whole submitted information.
Please find enclosed and attached, herewith documents for your endorsement.
Note, kindly resend your CV/RESUME on word format together with your answers.
Good luck! as you take steps to the right path in building your career.
SO, i had to download the online interview word document to fill in and then resend it.
This is how that online interview document looked:

13. Give us your full details on the Following; Full Name, Permanent Mailing address, Office/Work Mailing Address, Direct Contact Number(s), E-mail.

15. What is your Future Plans for the Company if Permanently Employed?
16. What is your current Salary?
17. What is your expected Salary?
It looked so real and genuine , he started filling in the forms carefully with more details to please the interviewers.

I am the latest person to almost fall for this scam. How delighted was I to be offered $25,500 per month plus expenses as Construction Manager for Petronas – hours of work 10 – 4. What a doddle! However, smelled a rat and checked official Petronas site. Very loathe to apply on-line for jobs now.
Wish we could find these bastards!!
