petronas oil company scam! (4)

So, we had sent our online interview form filled and also the resume as an attachment.We were expecting something good from them in a couple of days.What turned out was, after two days, they had sent a acknowledgment for the receipt of the mail that we had sent..How, professional and genuine these people portray themselves as?? Amazing!! Unbelievable.Great acting skills and originality, i must say.

Another couple of days, they sent the Contract/Offer letter as attachments , as soft copies.I mean, we expected more than this.How can a company recruit you without an face-to-face interview.This is where the doubt started.

How did we conclude that this was indeed a scam? read on…

1.The e-mail asked us to deposit some 1 lakh rupees to an agent in malaysia.

2.The mail ids from correspondence came were not having a domain name, much to the surprise for a big national company in Malaysia.
They used free mail service providers which even the smallest of organizations in India don’t.

Also the change in the emails like, the address of petronas oil company allegedly, made us think.
My father asked me to confirm the genuineness of the mail and the company.I googled it and got the home page which clearly had a banner in there saying “RECRUITMENT SCAM”..

Thanks to the ORIGINAL REAL PETRONAS COMPANY, but for that effort we would have had no idea of the SCAM.
